George Flores Jr of Pearl City, Hawai’i died on Dec. 21, 2017 in Honolulu at the age of 70. He is survived by his wife Annette Flores, children George Flores III, Frank Flores, Nani Flores Vickers, Arsena Kailihiwa, hanai children Vandale Motonaga, Charlie Ho’opi’i, Makahea Flores, Kanoe and Akela Souza. George was born on January 9, 1947 in Wailuku, Hawai’i to George Flores Sr. and Eleanor Kekahuna Wilhelm. He graduated from St. Anthony in 1965 and married Annette Flores in 1968. Haruye Imai, 94, of Wailuku, passed away on January 5, 2018 at her residence. She was born on April 14, 1923 in Paia. Private services were held. Haruye is survived by her son, Jerry Imai; daughters, Janice (Ronald-deceased) Kitagawa, Sharon (Raymond) Otsubo, Sharleen (David-deceased) Toyama, Aimee (Melvin) Arakawa; brother, Yuji (Lynn) Toyota; sisters-in-law, Sachi Toyota, and Yoshiko Fujiwara; 12 grandchildren, and 21 great-grandchildren.
