Mrs. Jessie Hatsuko Murakami, 79, of Kahului, passed away peacefully at Maui Memorial Medical Center on March 24, 2017. Services honoring Mrs. Murakami will be held at Wailuku Hongwanji Mission on Friday, April 21, 2017. Visitation will begin at 4:00pm, with memorial service beginning at 5:00pm. Shigenobu Shibano, 93, of Kahului, passed away on March 28, 2017 at Maui Memorial Medical Center. He was born on November 24, 1923 in Wailuku. Funeral services will be held at 4 p.m. on Saturday, April 22, 2017, at Wailuku Hongwanji Mission. Shigenobu was a retired manager from the Maui Bowling Center in Wailuku.
