Misao T. Wada, 90, of Wailuku, passed peacefully on December 26, 2016 at Hale Makua Kahului with family by her side. Services in loving memory of Mrs. Wada will be held on Friday, January 6, 2017, at the Kahului Hawaii West Stake Center of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, located at 1300 Maui Lani Parkway, with visitation scheduled to begin at 10:00am, and service at 11:00am. Mrs. Satsue O. Kanechika, “Sachi,” to her family and close friends, of Kahului, died November 29, 2016 in Honolulu. She was born on April 25, 1924 in Wailuku, Maui to Haruyo & Kesajiro Ogawa. Satsue was predeceased by her husband, Kingo Kanechika, who was a veteran of the 442nd RCT, Company M.
