Angkor Wat film festival screenings to be offered in 3D

Screenings for the Angkor Wat International Film Festival will be held Feb. 20 in McCoy Studio Theater at the Maui Arts & Cultural Center.The fundraising event seeks to preserve culture and the environment by screening documentaries around the world.Film topics range from underwater mysteries and global warming to big-wave riders and Alfred Hitchcock.Tickets are $13 per time slot for adults and $10 per time slot for students 17 years and younger (plus applicable fees) and are available at the box office, by calling 242-7469 or online at www.mauiarts.org. Maui-born two-time kite-surfing world champion Jesse Richman will present the film "Don't Crack Under Pressure" at the Maui Arts & Cultural Center later this month.The film features Richman among a select cast of international extreme athletes.
