New and renewing: Maui Youth Philharmonic orchestra begins classes

Maui Youth Philharmonic Orchestra’s new season of classes kicks off today at 9 a.m. in the Baldwin High School Band Room, 1650 Ka‘ahumanu Ave. in Wailuku. Classes will be held each Saturday under the guidance of MYPO Music Director Iolani Yamashiro-Rahimi. Applying students should be able to read music fluently and have at least three years of experience. Short-term foster homes needed at Humane Society

The Maui Humane Society has an urgent need for short-term foster homes for dogs. MHS will provide all supplies and information needed to become a foster. Please consider opening up your heart and home to a shelter dog!
