Water service will be interrupted for parts of Spreckelsville and Paia from Monday evening through Tuesday morning, the county Department of Water Supply announced.

Residents and businesses from Baldwin Beach Park to Hookipa Beach Park on Hana Highway, and from Paia town to Paia Elementary School on Baldwin Avenue will experience an interruption in water service from 10:30 p.m. Monday to 5 a.m. Tuesday.

The department will be repairing an 8-inch siphon on a drinking water mainline and replacing a valve at the Spreckelsville Pump Station. There will be low water pressure or no water available during this time.
