Pa‘u parade fit for Kamehameha

First photo: Princess Leila Kalani Larson represents Oahu in Saturday morning’s annual Na Kamehameha Commemorative Pa’u Parade and Ho’olaule’a. Larson took third in Outstanding Pa’u Princess and her unit also placed third in Outstanding Pa’u Unit.

Second photo: Wearing the colors of the island of Hawaii, Princess Ashley Lehuanani Branco rides down Lahaina’s Front Street on Saturday. Branco was named Outstanding Pa’u Princess and her pa’u unit took second in the Outstanding Pa’u Unit category.

Third photo: Princess Chasity Nicole Koko and her pa’u unit represent the island of Kahoolawe on Saturday. The unit took first in Outstanding Pa’u Unit and Koko was named the Hanai Hayashida Perpetual Trophy Recipient.

Fourth photo: Old Lahaina Luau’s float motors down Front Street on its way to placing first in the Float / Decorated Vehicles category. Lahaina Restoration Foundation finished second, while Makawao Rodeo Court took third. Meanwhile, in the Marching / Walking Unit category, Maui Music Mission earned first, followed by the Napili Kai Foundation and the Worldwide Indigenous Science Network.
