Police find dumped animal carcasses
Officers found several animal parts and carcasses, which appeared to be from deer and pigs, when they responded to a report Tuesday morning in the Waikapu area, police said.
The random animals parts, which were on private property, appeared to be in different stages of decomposition and appeared to have been dumped over a period of time, said Maui police spokeswoman Lt. Audra Sellers.
She said there weren’t any known suspects. Police documented a criminal littering case.
