Gov. Green travels to Washington D.C.
Gov. Josh Green and First Lady Jaime Kanani Green will be in Washington D.C. this week for various meetings and events with federal officials, including President Joe Biden, according to a news release.
Green will meet with Homeland Security Advisor Liz Sherwood-Randall, Director of the White House Office of Intergovernmental Affairs Tom Perez, and FEMA Administrator Deanne Criswell.
Green will depart Washington D.C. on Friday and travel to Pittsburgh, Penn. for a personal trip. He will return to Honolulu in the late afternoon on Monday.
Lt. Gov. Sylvia Luke is serving as acting governor until Green’s return.
