Hale Kau Kau reports record meal service in May

Hale Kau Kau provided a record number of meals in May, the most in a single month in the organization’s 35-year history, according to Barry Rosenfeld, president of Hale Kau Kau. The organization delivered 3,475 meals to kupuna and people with disabilities, an average of 112 meals per night. Hale Kau Kau also served 2,625 meals onsite in Kihei to people facing food insecurity, an average of 85 dinners per night.
