Nara Organics recalls infant formula over potential contamination
The Hawaii Department of Health is alerting residents to a recall of all lots of Nara Organics Powdered Infant Formula products due to potential contamination with Clostridium botulinum. The products were distributed nationwide, including direct-to-consumer sales from the Nara Organics website, as well as for purchase at Target stores in Hawaii. State officials are working with stores to pull the recalled products, including 400g and 700g Nara Organics Whole Milk Infant Formulas. Infant botulism is a rare but potentially fatal illness.
