A 34-year-old Kahului man was arrested Friday in connection with an armed robbery reported earlier this week near Hoʻokipa Beach Park, according to Maui police. Police said the man was arrested at about 2:20 p.m. on a $100,000 warrant related to the June 10 robbery. He also had additional warrants totaling $320,000 and remained in police custody Friday.
