OHA disaster program to provide aid for Native Hawaiian families affected by storms
The Office of Hawaiian Affairs has launched a disaster assistance program that will provide more than $1 million in financial aid to eligible Native Hawaiian families impacted by the March kona low storms. Applications are open for the OHA March 2026 Kona Low General Disaster Assistance Program and will be administered by the Hawaiian Council. Eligible homeowners may receive grants of up to $15,000, while eligible renters may receive up to $7,500.
