Marina Batacan Simon, 94 of Lahaina, passed away on April 11, 2021 at Hospice Maui Hale in Wailuku. She was born on September 20, 1926 in Hawi, on the big island of Hawaii. Marina worked as a field worker for both Pioneer Mill and Maui Pine. Mitsuo Wallace Harada, 91, died unexpectedly at Hospice Maui Hale in Wailuku, after a short illness on April 3, 2021. Mitsuo was born January 4, 1930 in Happy Valley, Wailuku, Maui. He graduated from Baldwin High School in 1948. After graduation, he enlisted in the service, and was a Korean War Veteran.
