Winifred Satsuki Nagoshi, 97 of Wailuku passed away on June 12, 2019. She is predeceased by her husband, Noboru Nagoshi and survived by; her sons, Floyd (Sharon) Nagoshi and Kelvin Nagoshi, her daughter, Joy (Ronald) Iwamoto, sister, Edith Omuro, granddaughter, Nicole( Pete Ikaika) Galicinao, great-grandsons: Jai, Aison, Cruz, and Tide Galicinao. Juanita Samudio, 94, of Lahaina passed away peacefully at home on July 3,2019. Juanita was born in Bakersfield, CA and moved to Maui in 1980. She worked at various restaurants on Front Street and for the Kapalua Land Co as a landscaper. Juanita loved watching football on Sundays and was always rooted for her favorite team the 49rs.
