Ernesto Ibuna Manegdeg, 76, of Wailuku, Maui, passed away at Maui Memorial Medical Center on March 30, 2019 surrounded by his loving family. Ernesto was born in Bangui, Ilocos Norte on November 4, 1942. Ernesto is predeceased by his parents, Tomas and Amparo Manegdeg; son, Mario Manegdeg; and sisters, Florencia Tapuro and Abel Cruz. He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Cecilia Manegdeg. Helene Ozoa, 59 of Lanai City, had passed away on Monday, February 4th, 2019. She was born in Honolulu on July 23rd, 1959 to the late William S. & Enorata Hilodo Ozoa. Andrea R. Prepose, age 94, passed away April 7, 2019 of natural causes. She was born November 30, 1924 in Bacarra, Ilocos Norte, Philippines to Adraiano and Bernandina Ramelb. She married best friend and love, Silvino Prepose in October of 1946 who preceded her death in 2004. Andrea loved to garden and there was nothing she could not grow from a seedling. Hatsuye Shima, 94, of Wailuku, Maui, passed away peacefully on April 15, 2019, at Hale Makua, Kahului. Services honoring Mrs. Shima will be held privately by family. Hatsuye was born on September 8, 1924 to Mr. Matsuju and Mrs. Uto Gushi in Puunene, Maui. She enjoyed her work and fellow employees in sales at the Shirokiya Store in Kahului.
