Josephine V. Medeiros, 75, of Kahului, passed away on June 3, 2017 at her residence. She was born on December 20, 1941 in Puunene, Maui. Visitation will be held from 9:30 a.m. to 11 a.m. on Saturday, July 15, 2017 at St. Anthony Church in Wailuku, mass will begin at 11 a.m., and burial will follow at 12:30 p.m. at Valley Isle Memorial Park in Haiku. James Raleigh Hill, 96, of Hilo and formerly of Kihei, Maui died July 2 at the Hospice of Hilo Pohai Malama Facility. Private services. Dodo Mortuary Hilo is assisting with arrangements. Mr. Hill was born on November 16, 1920 in French Lick, Indiana. He was a retired accountant and real estate broker. He was preceded in death by his wife of 62 years Betty Francis Hill. Survived by son, Richard (Audrey) Hill of Hilo; daughter, Marian (Fred) Elliott of Santa Ana, California; six grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, numerous nieces & nephews.
