Letter: Disheartened with paid beach parking spreading
I recently visited my Maui family and was disheartened to see paid parking spreading to the Kamaole Beach parks. For generations, Maui's beaches have represented something increasingly rare in America: a place where residents and visitors alike could access some of the world's most beautiful natural resources without being nickel-and-dimed at every turn.
