King Kekaulike at Kamehameha Maui Tonight, Kanaiaupuni Stadium, 7 p.m. Overview A huge game in the MIL Division II race. Na Alii can virtually clinch a trip to the state tournament for the first time since 2006 with a win. The Warriors can virtually assure a playoff for the state spot with a win. King Kekaulike is first in the MIL on offense, third on defense. Kamehameha Maui is fourth in each. Na Alii at a glance King Kekaulike generates 88 percent of its 316.4 yards per game of offense on the ground -- Kalelepono Wong leads the league in rushing, Tysin Zackious is third, Kalani Puu is fourth. Senior OL Nui Crozier is out with a knee injury. Warriors at a glance Kamehameha leads the MIL in passing yards, on the strength of QB Makana Kamaka-Brayce. Maui High won the first meeting 44-0 on Aug. 26. The Sabers are third in the league on offense, second on defense. Baldwin is last in both. Bears at a glance Baldwin's offense has been steadily on the rise the last couple games. Sophomore Antone Sanches has taken over at QB, and senior Joseph Randolph has moved up to sixth on the MIL rushing list. Alex Murata is sixth in MIL receiving. Sabers at a glance Maui High is coming off its second straight tough loss to Lahainaluna. Piercen Evans is No. 2 in MIL rushing, Joe Cariaga is eighth in rushing and fifth in passing.
