The Maui Pop Warner Football Association will open its season on Sunday at War Memorial Stadium with its annual jamboree.

There is a total of 16 teams, with players ranging from 5 to 15 years old in four age brackets (tiny Mites, 10U, 12U and 14U) from Kahului, Wailuku, Kulamalu and Kihei.

Games run from 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. and the opening ceremony is set for 10 a.m.
