Coming off a win last weekend against Baldwin, Kamehameha Maui’s football team is looking forward to playing against Maui High at 7 p.m. Saturday at King Kekaulike High Stadium. Archer Fabrao recorded a team-high nine kills, and Avei Leauanae added seven, as Kamehameha Maui defeated Lahainaluna 3-0 in a girls volleyball match Tuesday at the Ka'ulaheanuiokamoku Athletic Complex. The Warriors dominated the match and won 25-8, 25-10, 25-19. As a team, KS-Maui scored a dozen points off aces while Hiʻilei Alo and Ciara Poepoe facilitated the Warriors' offense with 21 assists and 14 assists, respectively. Seabury defeats Hana in football opener

Seabury Hall defeated Hana 19- 12 in their season-opening football game Saturday in Hana. Playing in the Maui Interscholastic League’s eight-player division, Seabury scored 12 unanswered points in the first half, but Hana started coming back, scoring a touchdown each in the third and fourth quarters. In the first quarter, Seabury quarterback Carson Hollifield ran for a two-yard touchdown. Hana’s Micah Aquino blocked Seabury’s extra point kick attempt.
