Couch is seeking the District 11 seat, representing Kihei, Wailea and Makena, which current state Rep. Kaniela Ing is vacating to run for Congress. A fundraiser for Mike Victorino’s campaign for mayor will be held May 9 at the Mayor Hannibal Tavares Community Center in Pukalani. There’s a $20 per person donation for the event that runs from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Meanwhile, the Victorino campaign is assisting with Kauai and Oahu flooding relief efforts. Canned food and water will be accepted from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday through Friday until May 4 at the campaign headquarters. It is located at 737 Lower Main St., Unit B-2, in Wailuku.
