Hope Chapel Maui in Kihei to start Saturday service Hope Chapel Maui is starting a new Saturday service, beginning at 6 p.m. this Saturday. Arrive early for a low-cost taco dinner in The Living Room before the service. Sign-up open for conference Cornerstone Women’s Ministries is hosting a women’s conference in February called “Hawaii ‘Pearls of Grace’ Mission Trip” from Feb. 15 to 18 at Faith in Jesus Church in Wailuku. Transformation School of Ministry will begin its 2018 class schedule from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. Wednesday and Thursday and from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Jan. 13 at Faith in Jesus Church in Wailuku. The class will be taught this month by evangelist Matt Bennett. Everyone is welcome; the introductory class is free. Those who want a degree will pay $150 a semester, which is three months. Chanukah party planned in Kihei The Jewish Congregation of Maui, located at 634 Alulike St. in Kihei, will host its annual Community Chanukah Party at Beit Shalom Synagogue from 5 to 8 p.m. Sunday.
