Grant helps free meal programThe Good Shepherd Episcopal Church in Wailuku was presented with the Monsanto Fund Grant Award to support its Ka 'Ohana Kitchen feeding program.Ka 'Ohana Kitchen has been serving the community for 13 years. It partners with nonprofit organizations and families to provide free, hot meals to individuals and families in Central Maui every Sunday.A total of $7,500 was donated by the Monsanto Fund to Good Shepherd Church. Bible school to begin June 27Emmanuel Lutheran Church invites keiki, age 4 through those who have completed 4th grade, to participate in Surf Shack Vacation Bible School. The school will be from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. June 27-July 1.Each night will start off with an opening assembly where students will hear from Snappy the Crab and the crew at the Surf Central Factory.
