'Life and Teachings of Jesus' classes next weekThe "Life and Teachings of Jesus" will be taught by the Rev. Terry Fowler of Oklahoma at the Wailuku Door of Faith next month.The sessions will be held from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. Wednesday and Thursday and from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Oct. 5, followed by a potluck lunch.Tuition costs $150 for three months of courses. Youths from Hawaii gather at Fiji eventTwenty youth from Maui, Lanai and Molokai, striving to contribute to the well-being of their communities, gathered on Fiji Aug. 23 to 25 for a youth conference as part of a worldwide series of conferences called for by the Universal House of Justice, the international governing body of the Bahai faith.A total of 90 youths from across the Hawaiian Islands were in attendance in Fiji.
