Priest joins order of knighthood

The Rev. Monsignor Terrence A.M. Watanabe of St. Theresa Roman Catholic Church in Kihei was inducted this month into the Equestrian Order of the Holy Sepulchre of Jerusalem, according to an announcement.This Catholic order of knighthood was established more than 900 years ago and operates under the protection of the pope, the announcement said.The ceremony took place in Salt Lake City at the Cathedral of the Madeleine.
