Computer search finally yields results on county bill

I’m really interested in this Bill 131 regarding property taxes and housing fire victims. It’s a shame all the news coverage does not provide a link to the text of the bill. I’m literally on the Maui County Council’s horribly designed website searching “Bill 131” and cannot find it, nor does a Google search yield results. The most basic way to decide something is to first read what we’re deciding on. Please, Maui News, provide a public service by referencing where residents can actually read this bill. Traumatized and scared, fireworks do not help

I know I am not the only one who is sick and tired of the fireworks going off every single night. During our neighborhood potluck for Thanksgiving Day, it was a major topic of discussion. A Quinnipiac University poll found that an overwhelming majority of Americans, 71 percent, want television in the courtroom for the federal trial of former President Trump on charges of attempting to overturn the 2020 election. First lady made a difference and believed in America

Rosalynn Carter believed in America. She came from rural, impoverished Plains, Ga., a predominant Black community with of history of cotton pickers. She grew up with Black people. When she was the first lady, she and President Carter decided to send Amy, her daughter, to public school in the same district as the White House. Most of the children in the district were poor.
