Ricarte Cayaban Lorenzo, 73, of Kahului, passed away on February 5, 2022 at Maui Memorial Medical Center. He was born on June 19, 1948 in the Philippines. Ricarte is survived by his wife, Novata Lorenzo; son, Ted Lorenzo; daughter, Gigi Cabural; grandchildren, Joshua, Charles, Czarina and Hana Mae. Albert A. Baldomir, 72, of Kahului, Maui peace-fully passed away on January 19, 2022. Albert was born on February 20, 1949, to Richard D. Baldomir & Angela R.M. Dominczuk in Bremen, Germany. He graduated from Leilehua High School, Wahiawa, Oahu in 1968. Albert was known for his agility and style as a “Mule” QB Football player during his high school years, along with participating in self-defense boxing. Bernarda is survived by her loving husband, Rosario Ramones Sr., children, Wilson (Nimfa) Ramones, Rosaflor Ramones, Rosario (Laurie) Ramones, Ardel and Arlene Acob. There was an error on the spelling of one of the survivors and the date of birth on the obituary that ran in The Maui News on the Weekender, Feb 12-13, 2022. Amy was born in Wailuku, Maui on December 26, 1931 to the late Robert and Yuri Yoshizawa. She worked at her dad’s paint shop in Wailuku, Roberts Hawaii, Hawaiian Airlines and Kahului Airport as a supervisor for the Visitor Information Program. Edwin K Montgomery of Wailuku, Maui passed away on February 5, 2022 under the care of Islands Hospice. He was born on Feb. 8, 1935, Maui Hawaii. Firmina Carmen Ribucan, 73 of Napili Maui passed away on the 20th of January 2022, under hospice at home with loved ones around.
