George Shigenobu, 79 of Kula, Maui passed away on April 6, 2026 at Maui Memorial Medical Center. He was born on April 15, 1946 in Makawao. George was a retired Glazier who love to golf. He is survived by his beloved wife, Helen (Takamiya), sons Jon Tamura (Naalei), Glen Tamura (Christine), Ben Tamura, a sister Janet Nakashima (George) of Pearl City, Oahu, sisters-in-law Lani Akamine (Roy deceased) and Sandi Akamine (Edward Shige deceased), 6 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews. Private Services were held.
