The first installment of Maui County real property taxes for fiscal year 2026-27 is due Aug. 20, according to the Maui County Department of Finance. Tax bills have been mailed to property owners and their agents. Property owners who have not received a bill should contact the department. Failure to receive a bill does not exempt taxpayers from penalties or interest on late payments. Taxes not paid in full by the deadline will be subject to a one-time 10% penalty and 1% monthly interest on the unpaid balance until paid.
