Brown-water advisory lifted for Maui, issued at Fleming Beach
The islandwide brown water advisory for Maui has been canceled, but a new advisory has been issued for Fleming Beach Park on Maui, according to the state Department of Health. The department is advising beach users to stay out of waters that appear brown or murky, especially following storms or heavy rain. After storms or heavy rain, the water may contain higher than normal pollutant levels.
