Ninth arrest made in assault, riot investigation

A 16-year-old Lahaina boy was arrested Wednesday on suspicion of riot in connection with an assault and riot last month at a West Maui resort. The latest arrest is the ninth reported by police in connection with the July 17 incident at Kā‘anapali Ali‘i, a luxury beachfront condominium and resort at 50 Nohea Kai Drive.
