County deploys water tanks in West Kuiaha and Awalau areas; about 200 customers affected

Approximately 200 customers in West Kuiaha and Awalau areas of Haiku have had low water pressure or no water since 11 a.m. Sunday due to a well outage, according to the Maui County Department of Water Supply. Drinking water tanks have been stationed in the area until service is restored. The well is out of service due to major electrical issues impacting its pump, and there is currently no estimated timeline for repair.
