Council committee meetings canceled, legislative offices closed Monday
Maui County Council committee meetings scheduled for Monday, Aug. 17, have been canceled, and county legislative offices will be closed as employees and residents deal with the aftermath of Tropical Storm Lala. The Water Authority, Social Services and Parks Committee was scheduled to meet at 10 a.m., followed by the Water and Infrastructure Committee at 1:30 p.m. The Office of the County Auditor, Office of the County Clerk and Office of Council Services also will be closed Monday.
