Frank A. Alameda, Jr., 80, a native of Maui, Hawaii, passed away on Wednesday, November 23, 2016, in New Albany, Indiana. Frank was born on November 14, 1936, in Lahaina, Maui County, Territory of Hawaii to Gen. Frank A. Alameda, Sr. (Ret.), and Lilly K. (Apo) Alameda. He graduated from Baldwin High School in Wailuku, Maui, and attended Grinnell College in Grinnell, Iowa. Frank served in the United States Army, with most of his service time spent in Stuttgart, Germany, where he was also a member of the U.S. Army European Soccer Team.
