Spartans girls shut out Farmers twice

The Seabury Hall girls soccer team opened the Maui Interscholastic League Division II season with a pair of shutout wins over Molokai in Olinda over the weekend.
The Spartans beat the Farmers 12-0 on Friday and 10-0 on Saturday.
Quinn Quinabo scored seven goals on the weekend, Erika Hammer scored five, Freya Carlsen and Jayci Magalianes each scored three, Madi Kelley scored twice, while Victoria Osborn and Po Pani-Colorado each had one goal for the Spartans in the two matches.
In the second match of the MIL D-II boys season, Molokai and Kihei Charter tied 3-3 on the Friendly Isle on Saturday.
The Tiger Sharks (1-0-1), who are playing MIL boys soccer for the first time in school history, got two goals from Noe Fleming and one from Jacob James. The Farmers (0-1-1) are playing MIL boys soccer for the first time in more than a quarter century and got two goals from Riley Nakayama and one from Braeden Cabael-Kaahanui.
