Haiku man is facing weapons, drug charges
Benjamin Inciong, 47, was arrested and charged with drug and weapon offenses after the Maui Police Department Crime Reduction Unit executed a search warrant at his Haiku residence Thursday.
Crystal methamphetamine, marijuana, drug paraphernalia, three handguns, one rifle, ammunition and a butterfly knife were recovered by police.
Inciong was charged with being a felon in possession of ammunition, being a felon in possession of a firearm, use of a firearm in a felony drug offense, altering the identification number of a weapon, possessing a butterfly knife, promoting a detrimental drug in the second degree and promoting a dangerous drug in the first degree, according to a news release.
Bail was set at $250,000.
