Farmers, Hawks advance to MIL semifinals

Nickolas Rapanot had 22 points to lead the Molokai High School boys basketball team to 76-52 win over Hana in the quarterfinals of the Maui Interscholastic League Division II tournament Wednesday night at “The Barn” in Hoolehua.
The No. 4 seed Farmers (6-5) advance to face top-seeded Seabury Hall in the semifinals today. The Dragons’ season ends at 1-10.
In the other quarterfinal, Connor Fernandez scored 18 points as third-seeded Haleakala Waldorf (6-5) eliminated St. Anthony (1-10) 54-40. The Hawks move on to play No. 2 Lanai tonight.
