Masako Abe of Pukalani, Maui, Hawaii, passed away peacefully under Hospice care on Sunday, May 28, 2023. She was born on January 29, 1929, in Waiakea Camp 2, Hilo, Hawaii. Masako was the most generous wife, aunt, sister, friend and neighbor. She is survived by many nieces and nephews. Services will be held at Nakamura Mortuary on Monday, July 3, 2023 at 11:00a.m. Visitation to start at 10:30a.m. Family requests no flowers or koden please. Barbara Jean Eberly, of Kahului, Maui, passed away on April 23, 2023 at Maui Hospice Hale surrounded by her children. Barbara was born on July 4, 1944 in Honolulu. She spent over 35 years in the restaurant industry, ending as Restaurant Manager of Columbia Inn until its eventual closing. After moving to Maui in 2000, she worked at Aloha Airlines. In retirement, she enjoyed spending time with her family and socializing with her friends.
