Hawaiian Electric crews will remove retired streetlights along Puunene Avenue in Kahului from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. April 28. No outages are planned.

The work will require the partial closure of the northbound lane of Puunene Avenue between Wakea Avenue to E. Kauai Street.

Safety signs, arrow boards and traffic cones will mark the work area and guide motorists through the altered lanes. Flaggers will provide on-site traffic control.

Motorists are advised to use caution when traveling through the area and to expect delays.
