Better care for hospital patients needed on Maui
Recently, my 83-year-old husband needed a kidney biopsy, a 30-minute procedure.
He had to fast from midnight, catch a 6 a.m. flight to Honolulu and returned home at 4 p.m.
My daughter had to take off work to help him maneuver our very busy airports.
I think it is ridiculous that we kupuna have to go through that when they have a hospital here on Maui.
Patients should come first. Do what it takes to bring the professional doctors here.
It’s time for Kaiser to step up and take better care of their patients here on Maui.
