Hope for a new Maui, stronger and beautiful
It seems that the mourning and the grief we feel now will never end.
We remember the many deceased family and friends.
We find ourselves searching for the cause and where to place the blame.
Instead, pray and ask that nothing like this happens again.
Those in leadership positions must ask themselves how best to use their authority and position of service and protection.
There is hope and we will be blessed with a new Maui, stronger and beautiful; a Maui for us.
Look to Maria Lanakila, “where the mountains are green, you will find me, down by the seaside, in Lahaina, Lahaina Luna.”
