Lakota Lee of Kihei Charter won the Maui Interscholastic League individual championship after shooting a 226 in the three-round tournament. Among the girls, Maui Prep’s Ava Kawahara won the championship with a 12-shot advantage over the second-place finisher. The MIL individual championship golf tournament concluded Saturday at Makena Golf and Beach Club. Earlier rounds, including a play-in tournament, were held at Waiehu Golf Course, Maui Nui Golf Course and Wailea Gold Golf Course.
