A 48-year-old man from Haiku died in a motorcycle crash Wednesday night in Makawao. Police have identified the man as Jeremy Salinas. The crash occurred at about 10:28 p.m. on Piiholo Road near Mahiai Place. According to Maui police, Salinas was driving a 2006 Honda CRF223F motorcycle north on Piiholo Road when he failed to negotiate a left bend in the road and went up an embankment.
