WAILUKU — The Baldwin High School girls volleyball team rolled past King Kekaulike in the semifinals of the Central Pacific Bank/Maui Interscholastic League Division I tournament on Tuesday night at Jon Garcia Gym.

Amanda Naipo smacked 17 kills to go along with eight digs in the 25-14, 25-16, 26-24 victory.

Ariana Naipo, Amanda’s twin, delivered 11 kills and five digs, Kuulei Manaois had six kills and an ace, Lilinoe Paschoal dished out 34 assists to go along with seven aces and five digs, and Natronai Anana had 19 digs, an ace and two assists.

The Bears (12-1) can wrap up the MIL D-I crown tonight with a win in the tournament final. A Baldwin loss tonight would force a winner-take-all championship match on Thursday.

King Kekaulike, which did not record stats in the match, finishes the year 5-9.
