Course look at ways early church expanded Transformation School of Ministries is offering a course on “Expansion of the Church in the Book of Acts.” This course will pay particular attention to the ways the early church expanded in biblical history and to principles that continue to apply to the growth of the contemporary church. Makawao Union hosts Maui Choral Arts The Maui Choral Arts Association choir, directed by John Rowehl, will perform during the regular 10:30 a.m. worship service at Makawao Union Church on Sunday, the church announced. Church seeks support for Ukrainian refugees Compassion in Action-Maui, the benevolent arm of Faith in Jesus Church, is inviting the public, and especially Ukrainians living on Maui, to attend daily prayer meetings at noon Monday through Friday. The church is located at 432 Waiehu Beach Road in Wailuku. Donations are being sent to Open Door, an organization transporting refugees to safety and sustaining a holding center in Poland, according to Compassion in Action-Maui.
