James Ran Fernandez

March 2, 1936- January 29, 2025

Born in Pāʻia, Maui, James was the son of Joseph and Bella Fernandez, and brother to Harold.

A proud United States Army Veteran, and retired Ameron leaderman, James loved fishing on his boat, the Maui Maiden, working in his yard, and going holoholo around the island with his family.

On January 29, James passed peacefully at Maui Memorial Medical Center with his loved ones by his side.

James is survived by wife of 65 years Marie, children Liz, James Jr., Raynette; hanai son Mano; grandchildren, Alden, Ryann (Levi), Mocho, Chad; and great-grandchildren Makamae, and Tayli.
